Woman ‘stabs online date in the neck during sex in Las Vegas hotel room in revenge for US drone strikes’

AN IRANIAN WOMAN has been accused of stabbing her date online to avenge an Iranian military leader who was killed in a 2020 US drone strike.

Nika Nikoubin, 21, has been charged with attempted murder after she attacked a man she met on a dating site while they were in bed together at a Las Vegas hotel, police said.

Nikoubin and the man, who has not yet been identified, met on the dating site Plenty of Fish. After talking online, the couple decided to meet at the Sunset Station Hotel on March 5.

According to police reports, the two rented a room together on the 14th floor of the hotel. In the bedroom, the couple began to have sex.

Nikoubin turned off the lights and put a blindfold on the man as they hooked up, police said.

After covering his eyes, Nikoubin allegedly retrieved the knife from his purse and stabbed his date twice in the neck. The man said he “felt pain in the side of his neck”. KLAS TV reported.

Nikoubin allegedly attacked this man as “revenge against US troops for the murder of Qassem Soleimani in 2020”, according to the police report.

US forces assassinated Soleimani, Iran’s top general, in a drone strike personally endorsed by Donald Trump in January 2020.

After the man realized he had been stabbed, he pushed Nikoubin out of himself and fled the room to call the police, authorities said.

Police said Nikoubin ran out of the room after him and told a hotel employee that she had just stabbed a man.

The police report says Nikoubin told investigators that “she wanted revenge.”

She also reportedly said a song called “Grave Digger” gave her the “motivation” to carry out her revenge.

The current condition of the victim is not known.

According to Nikoubin’s social media, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles.

An old Facebook post listed Nikoubin as a member of the UCLA debate team and said 2020 was his first year as a JV coach.

Nikoubin will face a preliminary hearing in court on March 24 on charges of attempted murder, assault and battery and burglary of a business.

She is currently being held on bail set at $60,000.
