KUALA LUMPUR, January 5 — American singer Jason Derulo doesn’t like to be confused with another music star.
The 32-year-old didn’t hold back when two men allegedly misidentified him as R&B icon Usher at a Las Vegas hotel.
In a clip obtained by an entertainment news site TMZthe wild love The singer is seen getting into a fight after being trolled by an unknown duo.
“Hey, Usher! F**k you, b****,” one of them is heard shouting at Derulo as they pass the singer-songwriter near the escalator.
Derulo didn’t appreciate being called someone else and charged at the man before punching him in the face, knocking him to the ground.
the take you dancing The singer also allegedly slapped the second man moments before security arrived on the scene to break up the fight.
According to TMZpolice were called to the Aria Hotel in the early hours of Tuesday morning after Derulo attacked the men.
The two victims did not wish to file a complaint at the time of the events but have up to a year to change their minds.
As for Derulo, the singer received a trespassing notice from the hotel and was evicted from the property.
Although the men appeared to be bleeding from their facial wounds, they did not need to go to the hospital.
TMZ said he contacted Derulo’s rep but has yet to hear back
