’70s Las Vegas hotel bar-themed restaurant to open in downtown Victoria

Vancouver-based Superflux Beer Company is expanding and opening a new 70s hotel bar-themed restaurant in Las Vegas, Victoria.

The new restaurant will be located at 804 Broughton St, in downtown Victoria and will have an interior design inspired by the company’s stated goal of “Do Cool S ***” and “Bring Happiness”.

According to a post on the brewery company’s Instagram account, it teamed up with Studio Roslyn, an interior design studio in Vancouver, to create a theme for “70s Vegas Hotel Bar Splendor.”

The site will also include two separate patios.

“The design philosophy of Superflux {Cabana} embodies the nostalgia for escape. Slightly hedonistic, our goal with the interior design direction was to awaken that feeling of vacation fashion so magical. Atmospheric and a little irreverent, the design has a certain cheeky nonchalance, ”said Studio Roslyn director Kate Snyder.

“We are convinced that people will have as much fun in the space as we had developing the concept with the Superflux team.”

Superflux and Studio Roslyn say more information about the project will soon be provided on the restaurant’s new Instagram account @ superflux.cabana.

Superflux adds that official job offers will be available soon.
