It’s been a lot like Christmas since around September. Still, it can be hard to believe that the big day is only about a week away. Las Vegas restaurants are in the holiday spirit and want to make sure their guests are too, so they offer dishes like these.

Pancakes with peppermint bark
Peppermint bark has become quite common in recent years – a kind of Christmas rebuttal to all things pumpkin spice in the fall – but Hash House a Go Go offers the rare distinction of showcasing breakfast flavors , with a buttermilk crepe tossed with crushed candy canes and chocolate chip milk and topped with whipped cream, $12.49, Dec. 24-25. and 31 Dec. and 1 Jan.

Feast of the Seven Fishes
The traditional Italian Seven Fish Feast will be served at Carmine’s on December 24th. Designed to serve groups of six to eight people, it includes fried calamari, baked or half-shell clams, shrimp cocktail, pasta with red or white clams. sauce, seafood pasta mix, scampi with shrimp and salmon origanata, $350.

Cinnamon Bread Pudding
A sweet way to end a Christmas Day dinner at the Hofbrauhaus which will also include chunky salmon chowder, breaded fried brie with salad and cranberries, and beef medallions with green pepper sauce, au gratin potatoes and gravy Hollandaise with asparagus, warm cinnamon bread pudding will be served with vanilla ice cream, English eggnog, spiced cherries and whipped cream, $10.
